At Quick Crêpes we love our go-to favourites like lemon and sugar and Nutella, but we also like to get adventurous with mouth watering savoury crêpes, and naughty sweet treats, a crêpe for all tastes!

Ingredients

(Per crêpe)

  • 125g Quick Crêpes Crêpe Mix
  • 300ml fresh cold water
  • Mascarpone
  • Strawberries – sliced
  • Dark chocolate – grated
  • Black pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix the crêpe mix and water in a jug.
  2. Whisk to a smooth consistency – don’t worry about a few lumps, they’ll disperse soon enough when cooking
  3. Heat your pan on a medium flame and add a little butter
  4. Lift and turn your pan while gently pouring in the mix, to ensure a thin, even layer
  5. Cook until the edges become lacy and begin to curl inwards – then flip your crepe over
  6. Spread with mascarpone.
  7. Grate over dark chocolate.
  8. Add sliced strawberries (room temperature, not from the fridge).
  9. For extra piquancy shake some ground black pepper over the strawberries to bring out their full flavour.
  10. Fold and serve.
